A new Fragrance.
I found this on Yahoo shine today. This is the first look at a sketch of a Wedge shoe by Mark Fast for a new Aldo Shoe collection. I can’t wait to see what comes of this but please read the story below.

Sketch by Mark Fast for Aldo
Leading Canadian designer Mark Fast has revealed a sketch from his upcoming collaboration with Aldo shoes. Alongside J.W. Anderson and Preen, the three London-based talents will be a part of the Aldo Rise collaboration line which puts the spotlight on young talents (like those Ikat wedges by Julian Louie).
With a bit of raffia fringe, leather and his signature knit, Fast spills on what expect from the capsule collection: “This collaboration has given me the opportunity to work with new shoe technology and resources. We are having a great time working together and the Aldo team have been quite inspiring in their innovations. We have a great deal of creative synergy. It’s nice to be tied to my roots again with a Canadian enterprise! The collection is about sexy, strong, fierce African fabulousness!”
A classic trend is definitely back this fall. I would always suggest have a pair of loafer in the closest because the classic style it offers to the wardrobe. Other benefit would also include the conservative nature of the shoe for business meeting s and it is just plain easy to wear. With that let’s look at the years trend in the High Heel Loafer. This shoe has appeared on the runways this year and is a must have for fall.
Would you pay lots of money for a shopping because it has a designer name on it. According to the Wall Street Journal the public in Korea would do just that. Some this has to do with the thickness of the paper as well as the glossy logos. It is still hard to imagine paying up $30 for a paper-shopping bag that says Chanel on it. Korea this all makes sense and they are happy to market these used bags.
Chipkos.com has the most expensive pair of flip-flops with a price tag of $18,000. Ok this is a holy wow but they do have designs on them by David Palmer. Trust me to wear these to the beach is a waste of money and for that reason chipkos.com has more reasonable sandals at closer to $50.
When people have money to spend on thing they do. What amazes me what can be turned into a luxury item just because of a demand or design. While, for the average person these two items may sound crazy but to the people designing, manufacturing and buying these things maybe not so. I decided to right about this just because it fun to read about. Enjoy your life wherever you are reading my words
Photo: Bobby DohertyWe just took a look back at Coco Chanel’s iconic style, and now we’ve gotten an up-close glimpse at the new iteration of Chanel No. 19 — the final fragrance created under the designer’s helm. (Number 19 represents Chanel’s birth date — today, August 19th.) The original scent, a mix of floral, wood and grassy notes, has been updated to feel fresher, more modern: Though it starts out super green, it soon warms into something sweet (though not overly so) and slightly musky with a powdery finish. The result is soft and subtle, but still classically Chanel.
Saturday walking around Vancouver, BC looking the local summer time style I found nail shops, shoe stores, and people showing of the their best looking feet. The was warm and welcome to me and my video camera. People found it interesting that I blog about feet shoes and the fashion that surrounds them. I gave some card out to those who I captured on my camera and are now on You Tube.
The first place that actually gave me excellence in service was Freedman Shoes on West 4th Avenue. They cheerfully showed me their collection of shoe with designer names like Steve Madden, Michael Kor populated these shelves and at discounted prices. Mitchell was most help when I showed him a sore on the back of my foot from my dress shows. I told this is very frequent happening and on of the main reason for me wearing clogs 90% of the time. I made some great suggestions that felt wonderful on my feet.
The next stop was Miz Mooz. Donna the owner of the shop runs a fun ship with great style and wonder clogs. There were ladies wondering bare foot around the store freely trying shoes. Sanita and Miz Mooz own style line these shelves with boot sandals and clogs sitting side by side.
Abercrombie & Fitch a teen aspirational company does not like the drunken behavior of The Situation and offer him a six sum in exchange for him not to be scene in their designs. Read the following story that I found on another blog site.
Apparently, the teen aspirational brand is not a fan of The Situation‘s drunken escapades and creepy hook-up tactics (who would have thought!?) and say they are “deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image.”
Now we know what you’re thinking: Does this mean we have to see even more of The Situation’s shirtless body? But no, thankfully the deal with A&F will simply have The Sitch wearing an “alternate brand.”
A&F went on to say on their website that they “have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”
In other news, The Jersey Shore cast continue to down vodka shots, fist pump maniacally, stumble around drunk and…laugh all the way to the bank. Here’s to new
lows ways to make money!
My personal thoughts are simiply we have better ways to entertain ourselves without watching someone flash us while in a drunken stew. I wish some of these shows would give our kids a positive message on how to live. Thank you Abercrombie & Fitch for speak out and offering positivity to our children
